Fractal Pay is a family-centric healthcare payments platform
We help families and friends coordinate and share and settle medical bills.
Patients share medical invoices with family members, track contributions in real time, and settle providers through regulated banking rails.
Origin Story
Australian families pay over $35 billion a year in out-of-pocket healthcare costs. Bills are large, fragmented across providers, and often shared between parents, adult children, and extended family. Yet the payment system remains individual, opaque, and uncoordinated.
Families already step in to help. They just do it through bank transfers, text messages, spreadsheets, and short-term credit.
Fractal Pay is a healthcare-specific payments layer that lets families pool, split, track, and settle medical bills in a structured and compliant way. We don’t lend. We don’t underwrite distress. We coordinate funds families already intend to contribute while giving providers greater payment certainty.
Healthcare costs are rising. Families are carrying more of the burden.
Fractal Pay makes that reality organized, transparent, and workable.
70% would use a healthcare-specific bill-sharing app.
60% delayed or avoided healthcare due to cost.
Most bills involve 1–3 contributors (built-in virality).
Patients face an average largest out-of-pocket cost of A$1,400
Problem
Healthcare payments were never designed for multi-party responsibility. As costs rise and care becomes more complex, families increasingly share the burden yet payment infrastructure remains individual, opaque, and fragmented across providers.
What We Do
Fractal Pay is a healthcare-specific payments coordination layer. It does not replace banks, insurers, or providers it connects them through a structured workflow that reflects how families already pay for care.
Patients invite family/supporters to contribute
Bills are uploaded or issued into Fractal Pay.
Providers receive settlement once funded through partner rails.
Contributions are tracked transparently in one place.
